#2000 Double Face Silk Satin Ribbon
•1" (24mm) #39 Off White, 11/8 yard
•5/8" (15mm) #41 Ecru, 5/8 yard
•5/8" (15mm) #40 cream, 1/2 yard
•5/8" (15mm) #31 Light Sage, 1/2 yard
•1/4" (6mm) #106 Blush, 1/2 yard

10 White stamens; Small round glass box; Light purple fabric brush marker; Spray water bottom; Paper towel; Glue

Instructions:

1. If desired, make a padded lid to fit box according to Steps 2 and 3 of Pincushion above, using White satin fabric.

2. Use Cream ribbon to make a gathered rose. Use a 131/2" and a 9" piece of Ecru ribbon to make 2 gathered roses. Make 3 gathered leaves with Sage ribbon. Make 3 dahlia petals with Cream ribbon, make 5 Cream fuchsias. Tie a small 4-loop bow with Blush ribbon.

3. Lightly color the center of each rose with marker. Mist roses to make color spread then blot lightly with a paper towel. Repeat to color fuchsia edges and bow loops. Allow flowers to dry.

4. Arrange and glue flowers and leaves to box top as desired.
